Keiko Cakes Kawamura

Our very own babe, the divine Luna Foxx, made quite a splash on ABC TV’s new reality dating show, Conveyor Belt of Love, receiving huge acclaim.

The always hilarious Luna, appearing as Keiko Cakes Kawamura, cracked plenty of spontaneous wisecracks throughout the hour-long show, keeping the entertainment level high.

The day afterwards, critics all over the web raved about her performance.

“The show’s true standout was Keiko, a 23-year-old who said up-front that she wasn’t interested in anything serious… Keiko found her Golden Boy early when Johnny Pride appeared on stage and she basically threw up the vacancy signs over her eyes, except for when she was insulting the choices of her fellow ladies. I especially adored when Betsy took the virginal Travis and Keiko deadpanned, “Oh, Betsy. He’s perfect for you. You can just hold hands and eat ice cream and not kiss.”

“I’m hesitant to use the word “breakout” in regard to any of the contestants on last night’s “Conveyor Belt of Love” premiere, but the fact remains that bachelorette Keiko (Tila Tequila meets Megan Hauserman) is destined for greatness!

Throughout the night she was cold, dismissive and brutally honest — flipping up her “Not Interested” sign and loudly announcing her lack of attraction whenever a sliding suitor indicated they may not mesh in the slightest. Keiko also took it upon herself to mock the other bachelorette’s choices…”

Over at the BettyConfidential column, Carrie admitted, “…I couldn’t stop watching the nightmare roll past,” adding this pithy observation:

“The show’s instant star is Keiko, a hilarious bachelorette who uses her 15 seconds of fame to create an indelible reality TV persona. She’s a lot like Lucy Liu’s character from Ally McBeal. On acid.

“By way of introducing herself to America, Keiko pouts, “I can break down the biggest player on Earth. That’s my gift.” And after picking a bachelor who rolls down the belt in a Speedo while carrying a purse-size-pooch, she whispers to him, “I want you to worship me.”

“Keiko, I think we kind of already do.”
